Default Question about the stock converter

I have a friend that owns a 2005 Mustang V6. She currently has an intake and a magnaflow muffler on the car. She took it to the track a little while ago, and said that she was able to launch her car at over 3K RPM, and the tires, I should say tire, was not spinning, until she let go of the brake.

I want to clarify if this is even possible. I find it hard to believe, that even in my GT that is S/C'ed, I can't do that unless the tires start spinning like crazy. She says she doesn't have a stall, and one other person is able to do it in her car. What do you guys think?

I got it up to 2,500 but had to goose it to get it there and there was no spinning, but when I launched there was a little slipping but not spinning

I can't get mine over 1800 without pushing through the lights. I have a Tlok and use DR's at the track. I'm surprised she can get it up that high.
