Default Will 295/35 on 18x10s fit without rubbing?

I'm looking to get a set of American Racing wheels (18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear). I want to put the widest tires on the back as I can. BF Goodrich has their g-Force T/A KDW, size 295/35ZR18. Anybody running 295s and did you have to make any mods to get them on?

What's the offset? If it's the same or close to the stock wheels, you can probably go a bit wider. It'll look badazz, but you'll be turning that much more weight...

Most aftermarket wheels require that you remove the clips on the wheel studs IF there are any left installed on your car. They were installed to support production line assembly and can be removed with needlenose or screwdriver. With aftermarket wheels, they can prevent the wheel from sitting flush and can cause vibration.

You'll be fine with that tire and rim offset. And with a tire that short you don't worry about the fender unless you decide to lower the car about 3".

Yes, remove the 'clips' and discard them.

I have 18x10 rims with 295/45/18 Nittos on the rear-- no issues whatsoever. I've encountered an '07 GT with 315's on 18x10 rims on the back, and no issues.

Given the offset, tire size and wheel size what formula do you use to determine whether it will fit or not? I assume somewhere you need to know the size of the wheel well, right?

Nope, just the revs per mile and what fits OEM as a guide...
You want to go wider, not taller...
