Default Since the dealer stared blankly about enabling the SJB function....

I went the old wire it thru relays method. I did it all on the cheap with salvage parts and they are all FOMOCO except the loom tape, and fuse holders.

https://mustangforums.com/forum/memb...e-holders.html

I can always cut one wire and a connector and connect to bottom of BEC and plug in stock relay and fuse the rest is there....IF I EVER FIND A DEALER THAT CAN ENABLE THE SJB FUNCTION.

The auto plants used to use relays for the the equipment and went to Programmable Logic Control (PLC)as its easier to write code than hardwire...that is all the SJB is a is a very small CHEAP PLC....its just amatter of finding the software package and a tech that actually knows how to use it.

Actually they are more of the PIC family than the PLC type.

I will get ahold of a few friends from when I worked at Ford. Does the software load go into a Startester?? Not sure if they will know the right person but it is worth a try.

What ya think of my homemade junkyard sourced harness? Yea I know I had to solder a few splices. The price was right though...

Yes all my splices were cleaned before and after soldering and heatshrink with adhesive linings.
