Default Wiring up an accessory without draining my battery.

So the Meter4it sequential tail light control unit requires a power hook up, but I need to find a place to hook up that doesn't pull power from the battery when the car is sitting. I think this is causing my battery to drain.

Any advice on where to hook up would be appreciated.

USE AN UNPOWERED FUSE WITH THE KEY OFF IN THE SJB WITH A TAP-A-FUSE.
The Owners Manual will point you in the right direction.
Those pesky meter 4 it kits and their needed external 12V and brake signals....
