I have red LED's in the front foot wells and in the rear on the side of my seats.
All i did to hook them up was run the wires straight to the battery and run a simple switch ($7 at autozone) and tack the switch to the underside of the foot well. It turned out really good and was simple to wire.

Boy I sure hope you fused the wire at the battery.
Or you are going to have a carpet smoker if any
of the wires gets pinched...
I never liked hooking straight to the battery as
the battery terminals are not the best place to
pick up 12 volts.
They are already prone to corrosion as is.

Not enough to warrant a size bigger in the wire department.
Unless you are planning on adding hundreds but the
OP stated only 2 LED light bars?
84 watts of Fog lamps, YES to the relay, two LED lights, NO relay required.
Its just plain overkill.
Sorry charlie.
WIRING diagrams are available online.
The wire colors and locations are shown in detail for those that can understand....
Point taken, but then again I like to err on the side of too much protection instead of not enough. I can envision someone hooking up a bunch of little lights, neon lights, etc. and then wonder why the wiring burnt up. Its just the electronics technician in me showing through.

I added neons to the footwells last summer. I opted to use a switch and just ran an add a fuse to the fuse box in the passenger side footwell. Had a friend turn the keys to on position and I checked to see which fuses were hot. I know there is one that goes hot when the doors open, just gotta spend the time to look for it.

Woodhall, I can email you the instructions for this kit if you want them. Of course, that's if you still need them. I would copy and paste on to this thread but it's a few page PDF file. It comes with pictures but im not sure what pictures would help you.
Let me know
