That depends on alot of factors besides the gearing.... With FI you want 4.10s to allow you to boost quicker.

 

I also do a lot of highway driving as I go down to San Diego to see my baby girl every weekend. Search under my threads and posts bro because I've discussed my 1st hand accounts of having the 4.10s for a couple years now and I've explained my changes in mpg (1 mpg drop that's IT!!), rpms at various speeds, acceleration feel, etc.

If you're hesitant to not go 4.10s due to fear of mpg, don't waste one more second of thought. Like I said, 1 mpg drop is worth all the benefits I've discussed across these various threads in the hopes to inform others on what they may/may not be missing out on. Anyone on here with 4.10s on their 4.0 will vouche for me that what I tell you is no lie

Of course the 1mpg thing is for me and my set up but I've gone extreme with taking weight off the car etc. Plus I know how to hypermile and let off the gas a block early if I see a red light instead of sheepling on the gas all the way to the painted line. LOL But that 1 mpg drop does include at least 5 or so dead-still to WOT burnouts just to make sure my memory from last time is still correct hahahah!

 

Meh, my MPG drop from stock to 4.10 was minimal. Worth the fun factor.
