It certainly looks cool! Like you said, who knows how it will perform. It's too bad they did not run some numbers yet. So I guess all we can hope is that whoever buys their test car up in Michigan becomes a forum member here and lets us know the SCOOP!

I'm gonna call them, I read somewhere that the shaker hood for the GT only generated a gain of 3HP, so this is probably more of a looks upgrade. Not sure though, so we need to get some info from Fang.

Here is the email I got from them just now:

Hi Todd,
We have not performed any performance gain numbers on it. We suspect the gain will not be significant. There will be more air available to the factory filter. But with out a computer tune probably won't be that noticeable. We built the functional box so guys could have a functional scoop without voiding any warranties.

Any word on price? I see the hood is different (there's a peak at the nose similar to the 69's). From the wording, that may be part of the package. That would be a help to those of us who cringe at the idea of cutting their hood, but it might make it a bit pricey. Regardless, I say "wooohooo".

I was torn between getting a Shaker Hood or a California Dream hood, but I couldn't get the Shaker because they didn't make it for the V6. Now that it is around, I am defiantly getting this one! I can't wait to see the price.

LOL. The california dream hood is on my list. I think the shaker hood is 1200, about 400 mroe than the dream hood.
