How the hell?
I am absolutely in love with Richard Evans 67' stang. If you guys havnt seen it, check this link:
http://popularhotrodding.automotive....ang/index.html
My question. If you look at the bottom of the second page it lists the tire sizes.
Front 225/45/17, ok no big deal
Rear 315/35/17 NO MINI TUBS, and a huge lip on the rims.
How the hell did he get those 11 inch tires to fit without tubbing the rear? This is basically the exact stance and tire combo I want on my 67, but I dont know how it was done.

Without any tubbing, it all comes down to off-set of wheels!
I did not read the article, but there cannot be anything more to it than that, really. I have always seen the possibilties for serious meats on the ol skool Stangs, but requires a VERY deep-dish wheel, as the room is all outward of axle.
Read more of the article or contact them. I am willing to bet there is a promotional ad somewhere in that article saying the wheels used.
