Exhaust leak after o/r pipe install... ideas?
#13
I had the same problem with my Mac H-pipe. The flare on the end was to small causing the ring to slip almost over the end and bottom out on the shoulders of the studs before it was tight. I brought the pipe into an exhaust shop and they flared it more for free. no more leaks. you could also try replacing the studs and using bolts so the flange can pull up as tight as it needs to.

Dangit! I couldn't remember which side that was for and I couldn't find your post when you suggested it by posting a really large photo of it lol
Thank you for correcting me, that way no ones goes out and buy one to find out it doesn't work.
