94 Mustang Clutch

94 Mustang Clutch
I am new to this forum as well as working on cars. I am looking into my first big job by myself and that is going to be replacing my clutch on a 1994 Mustang GT. Currently I am trying to order the parts and I have become confused. Is the clutch I need to buy just any T5 clutch? Thank you!

hello;
are you planning on replacing the pressure plate also. they are often worn beyond the service limit and need replacing but its impossible to tell until you take it out and look at it.
it's also common practice to resurface the flywheel. if it has some dark spots on it, hairline cracks and/or the surface is not perfectly smooth i suggest you get it resurfaced for sure.
also possibly a new bearing, especially if yours is really old.

ive had the king cobra clutch and was a tad bit too stiff. I use this one and I think its way better than the cobra clutch and cost just barely anything more!

I bought the RAM clutch, but i was curious what is the bearing I should buy along with the flywheel? The main problem with my clutch right now is that when I take off in first gear there is whistling sound which I assume is the clutch. The newest problem with the clutch is when I start to slow down in neutral it will start vibrating for some reason only decelerating.
Hopefully i get the parts needed to fix these problems

Its called a throw-out bearing. Also change the pilot bearing behind the block!!
Vibration could be anything. Just replace the clutch/bearings and new or re-surfaced flywheel and you should be good to go! Good luck!
