Mustangs of both the automotive & aerial varieties gather for one of the most unique events on Earth, Feb. 23 to 25 in Lakeland, Florida!

Carlisle’s Winter Florida AutoFest already offers up plenty of reasons for the average auto fan to head out to Lakeland, Florida, on February 23-25. A massive car show, auction, car corral, and daily cruise-ins, to name a few. But fans of Mustangs, both the automotive and aerial type, are treated to something extra special this coming weekend. We’re talking about “Mustangs & Mustangs,” one of the more unique pony car gatherings in the world.

Mustangs & Mustangs

Now in its 21st year, Mustangs & Mustangs combines over 200 of the nicest Ford Mustangs around with restored P51 Mustang airplanes. Aside from the fact that you get to check out fine examples of both, participants actually get to take a picture in their car next to their car’s namesake. And Mustangs of all ilk are invited, no matter what the year, model, or special edition. Heck, you can even bring any other Ford-powered car or truck!

Participants also get full access to all the other fun events taking place at the Winter AutoFest. So you can participate in the (free!) daily cruise-ins or go shopping at the car corral and swap meet. If you’ve got a car or truck to sell, enter it in the 400+ car auction. An auction that features a pretty unique “Free Unless Sold” policy. If your vehicle doesn’t sell, you get your registration fees back!

Aviation fans can also take a ride in a vintage Stearman Bi-Plane and visit the Sun N’ Fun Aerospace museum. If all of that sounds like too much fun to miss, registration is still open for Mustangs & Mustangs until the day of the event. You can sign up, or get more information, by heading over here!
