on my car they actually drilled holes like about six of them. but i think the scoop is sick. specially cause the front of the scoop kind of slants out.

How does that go on? Do you have to drill holes or do you just use 3m tape. And will the 3m tape mess up the paint..
As tamazulense said, it is drilled into the hood. I believe it has four screws holding it in place and four additional clips. When I got racing stripes, I saw them remove the scoop and stripe the underside of it and then stripe the scoop separately. The holes are probably just big enough to stick a pencil through. There was no 3m tape of any kind.
