I don't care what it's got in it. The Jap Ricers with their SUPER DUPER SUPERIOR IRS weren't stock either, and the Falken Mustang still wiped the floor with them. I can't believe the number of purported Mustang Owners on this board, who actually believe the Subaru STI is a superior vehicle for the money. If that is true, why don't you all go out buy the frigging thing and hope it lasts a single winter salt season. If performance is such a holy ideal, then go ahead and trade your Mustangs in for that BIG BAD @SS 4 door sedan Subaru Mustang killer. You obviously made the WRONG choice when buying your Mustang, because the SUBARU is SOOOoooo superior.

Noone here hates the mustang or else we wouldnt own one. You made it seem as though that mustang is stock and owns he cars. Just pointing that out.And i think weve established that the STI is more expensive than the gt

I wave to every Mustang I see on the road, and stare/park next to every one I see, I love my car. However, I don't have this false god complex about how the Mustang is just the greatest car ever made. Referencing a built drift car as proof that our Mustangs are superior to these, and I quote "Jap Ricers with SUPER DUPER IRS" is just foolish and ignorant.
Just as LS1 Tech is known for thinking that their own cars are the CARS TO END ALL CARS, you have the same ignorant closeminded view of your own car.
I love my car, but accept that it's not the best in all categories; straight line, twisties... and hell, even drifting? I can't believe I even have to say that.

As far as the EVO & Sti debate.. they are both factory rally cars.. stock with Brembo brakes, racing seats, and both ring in around 3200lbs due to the AWD systems. It only takes a turbo & exhaust & and a tune to get ($3500-4000) 400-500whp out of an Evo. The FQ400 EVO (special edition in UK - is just an upgraded Turbo, Exhaust & tune &suspension) They are in a different class. Of course they cost a bit more, but what you are paying for is the "other" numbers. 0-100-0, Slalom, Skidpad, etc... porsche like performance. Like this video...people dont buy evo's to keep them stock.

I love the mustang, but its apples and oranges. The retro muscle car look puts it on a different class. They are totally different cars built for different reasons. But for those straightliners out there heres more info to compare on. I never leave anything stock..
