RE: Getting SLOWER after breaking-in, or....??
hey LTR, maybe we should all swap cars for a few days and see how that works out.......
anyone with a CAI, tune, 4.10 and Saleen SC (actually, any brand will do) care to swap with ME for a week or so (mine is still bone stock- so you'll really feel the difference when you get yours back).......?

Want some real fun? Drive your car for weeks alone, then go for a ride with the entire family occupying all four seats. You have to keep looking in the mirror to makle sure you aren't dragging four sections of chain link fence. That extra 400 pounds makes a huge diff when you aren't used to it. LOL

you mean to say you can actually fit TWO people in the back of yours??!
when I put my 2 year-old grandaughter in the back, her feet actually hit the back of my wife's seat unless she pulls it up.............

I have had mine full before. It was tight but it can be done. It actually didn't feel slow though. I could really feel the pull of the motor. The CAI and tune had some to do with thatI think

Don't drive it for a while, or as I do, drive a Lincoln Aviator for 2 mos to work and back. Over X-Mas the weather was real nice (see my pic) so I washed it an took it for a spin around the block. I was going to supercharge it (maybe still at a later date) but said "damn this car IS fast. I got 3800 miles on mine since May of '06.
