I searched the forum & the web, and still am puzzled. Are the Magnapack just a "Upperclass" glasspack? I ordered some Magnapacks a month ago or so and the company was giving me the runaround...only had one in and I was waiting & waiting for the other(no patience when I want stuff for the 'Stang). Now the second company is doing the same thing...damn it. I was wondering if glasspacks sound okay on our cars? Since they are straight thru flow with packing like the Magnapacks. Thanks.

I have a Magnaflow 3" CAT back system with Magnapacks installed on my car. They are straight a through design, but not as loud as a glasspack. I might saythe Cherry Bomb glasspack is about 2/3- 1/4 the diameter of the Magnapack,but also a straight through design.

 

I have the 3" packs too. There is a small round muffler on them and glasspacks are straight pipes so they are dissimiliar

 

I have the magnapacks and they are 3"+ around and are straight thru in design with more packing than the old style "glasspacks" Check out magnaflows website it has all the info you need. They sound great and are quiet at cruising and idle. Open her up and you know you are going as the sound is awesome.
