You're right,I got that.

I'm talking looks though.
The original Mach1shad the trim because Ford felt it was necessary for finition, and so do I.

Marcus, I'm sorry for the hi-jacking...
I'm done about that trim ring.

I'm confused also. Your sequential kit must be different. I got the CDC Dynamite Stick kit from BlueOvalIndustries.com. Drove down to their store on vacation and picked them up in person and installed them at my brother's house in his driveway with his limited tools. Took about 30 min. The CDC Dynamite Sticks are a complete replacement and have the grommet already attached over the wires. The original grommet comes out, attached, to the original harnesses. When you put the Dynamite sticks in, they already have the grommets on the new harnesses and everything just plugs in. Sounds like your kit is different or something else...

Guys, they always weren't complete replacements. If they are for the 05's early 06 they were different.

This CDC/Steeda item splices into the existing harness and replaces one bulb holder instead of all three.
The harness you refer to is definately the way to go......
Obviously you dont have the CDC from your incorrect statement. The Dynamite stick sequentialskit is a whole harness you swap out, not just the third bulb socket. No splicing, just plug in the new harness and transfer your bulbs. It took me about thirty minutes.
I too have the CDC's on my 07 GT And I agree with you, mine were compleate harnesses and nothing is left open to the elements any more than it was with the stock harness. I just swapped the bulbs also, and in a bit over half an hour's time. And I took the time to compleatly tape up the entire harness leaving no wires exposed.

I have the webelectric on an '05 and it was a harness swap: Get behing the shroud, three screws, unplug the old, fish through, swap bulbs, put back. There was a rubber bushing that was re-used. Is this what was missed?

Right, webelectronics is different than the CDC kit. Marcus, can you just take a picture of the kit.
