I will never give them my business again either. I purchased a few things at once such as a T-Shirt they sent me the wrong one then wanted me to pay to ship it back which would cost me more than the shirt and refused to replace it with the one i wanted. They pulled and packaged the wrong shirt and could care less. I also purchased the FRRP Chrome PCoated Cam covers and when i opened the box there was hair stuck in the finish big drips like paint drips on the cover to head area and they made me pay to ship them back then charged me a freakin restocking fee for a defective products. Screw That place they suck.
They have a **** poor atttitude all the way around.
Like stated earlier by Sherwood06GT the customer is always right....a lot of companies screw up but its how they handle it that keeps costumers coming back...All in all there are plenty of other companies out there that sell the things blue oval does so I wouldnt even take the risk of buying from then when I can just buy from someone else and not have to REALLY worry about it them screwing me over like they did to the people that spoke up.....Thanks for the heads up Black Mamba(And others)...Sorry you were held back from getting your headlights but good luck at finding another set

Not helping each other out?

Don't care, don'thave a dog in this fight... There is always 2 sides of the story, that's a given, but the scales always tip one way or the other.
So far, It seems to be more negative towards you guys.[8D]
I think we need to separate Gilligan's case from Mamba's. From what's available in this thread, Gilligan was hostile from the get-go. The reason for the rudeness is immaterial - Gilligan needs to either let go of previous bad internet experiences or quit buying online. His blood pressure will thank him a few years down the road.
Mamba mis-interpreted Blue Oval's rather direct answer. If you read just the text in
there isn't anything that deserves response in flames. Yes, the replyis worded a bit bluntly. But it did answer the question as to whether they were JDM or not. Perhaps the other questions should have been asked and answered before a bid was submitted, or repeated in a further e-mail.
BUT . . . Blue Oval could have taken the high road here (but didn't). Although you are entitled to present your side, it was not necessary to provide exact text from what was and should remainprivate correspondence. A paraphrase or simple summary with at most some hint that the correspondence wasn't "work-safe" or PG-rated in its entirety would have been enough. I fear that the way it's gonehas only served to harden a few more people in their positions, and your company may end up being the ultimate victim via lost sales.
Everybody involved here needs learn how to step back and read what they've written before hitting the 'Send' button. E-mails involving online purchases are NOT the same as posts in the Off-Topic forum and shouldn't be written that way, at least not in the early going. It's a business deal, same as buying the same part face to face across a Ford parts counter, and deserves the same respect from both parties. I know itcan be harder from behind the keyboard, since there is no "tone of voice" or body language clues to help provide the proper interpretation of the actual words. And I know that many (most?) people don't bother to edit what they write on any regular basis. Take a deep breath, and try to read it back to yourself as if somebody else sent you the exact same words.

Well, my grill shipped today and will be here shortly. I'm happy so far. As long as it's the new version of the SS Eleanor grill, and not the one people had fitment problems with, I'll be very happy.
Well,in my opinion (having never ordered anything from Blue Oval), I think Blue Oval comes out looking really bad. There are way too many vendors selling parts to our cars to have to deal with a situation like this. I, for one, will not order from them.
I ordered rims from blue oval, and got them very quickly with no problem. ...no problem except one of the rims has a slight wobble. But, then again, the old set of CT-R's I had contained a wobbly rim.
I didn't deal with their customer service though.
