Fog Lights - Do they make a difference?
Wow, a lot of replies.
So, I was thinking to get a v6 pony package fog light kit and to put fog lights somewhere in the lower bumper/grill area, either split or together where the licence plate isn't...
Or are the pony package foglights too big in diameter to even try to fit/mold them into the grill
Anyone seen or done anything like this that came out looking nice?
Here's a quick photochop of what I was thinking.

As I implied earlier, whatever you install, be sure the reflectors are a fog pattern and not a driving pattern (assuming you're truly looking for improving driveability in dark, foggy conditions). Also, the type of bulb plays a huge difference. Brighter is NOT better; nor is cooler. You want to stick with standard wattage (typically 55 watts) and cooler (yellow) cooler. All the posts above that suggest brighter and cooler bulbs are the ones that probably use their fogs as driving lights and **** the rest of us off.
