How in the hell do you get into the passenger compartment fuse box? I bought the FM modulator for my XM and I can't get into fuse box. I know where it is, just can't open it. Here are a few pictures of my sonic blue GT.

It isn't easy. Both sides have two clips that you just pull up on to open.
I found that it is easier to pull up on the side that is closer to the door.
I don't know why, because both sides are exactly the same.
Every time I try to get into that thing it is like doing it for the first time.
That is an odd design to me.

you might as well pull the sill and side panel that way you can run the wires. the door sill pulls straight up and the side panel pulls toward the latch. this is the driverside but they are basicly the same

? please, I was told before buying the 05 GT Vert that I could add XM or Ser later. Well I went back yesterday and was told my S1000 is not sat ready and I will need an aftermarket plug and play system to feed through my Shaker. Is this true? Thank you in advance for all the help and info in this site...1st class cars and people.

That's true the 05 Mustangs are not XM or Sirius ready.

Thank you jagbits...any thoughts on the best system to get? I have a XM account with my Chev Suburban, I guess I could just add a radio to that account.

Thanks Voodoo and Afixer. I'll give that a try tonight and see what happens. I bought this modulator because I had one in the other Mustang and it sounded great. I had to resort to a wireless modulator that I already had and sounds like crap. I put in the Blue Man Group CD yesterday and at low volume, maybe on number 3, it sounded great. Then I turned it up to 6 and man does this stereo souond great and it is only the Shaker 500. I can imagine what the Shaker 1000 sounds like.
