So do you make sure to put a layer of clearcoat on over the paint?
I don't think anyone should bother with graphics. you can't read it when they're installed!

If any of you are looking for caliper decals I found a good place at http://www.xenonmods.com/
Thanks for posting that link.

Wow, I was doing a little research on clear coat for the calipers. Here is a big lessoned learned from some poor guy. TEST the compatibility of the clear coat on the base paint. This guy put clear coat on over his caliper base paint and it bubbled. He suspected it was because he used a crappy high temp engine paint, but be forwarned. Test the two paints on something first.

I'm starting to think the way to go may be powder coating. Not sure how much it would cost, but at least you would know it would turn out right.

Do you guys think that the paint from PaintScratch.com would work for the brake calipers? My car is Torch Red, and I was thinking it would look cool to paint the calipers Torch Red also.

Also, any idea how many cans of 12.5 oz spray paint/primer/clear coat it would take?

Thanks.

Thanks for the info, but I also wanted to make sure that the body paint would also work on the calipers. I assume they heat up more than the body and wanted to make sure the paint would cover well and last a long time.

Dose any one have a pic of painted calipers with those Rims? How would you paint it, do you have to take the Caliper off, if so how would you take it off?
