Take it to the dealership they will fix it. My car came with the six gauge cluster and the mycolor options but the control buttons were never installed. The dealership put them in with no problem.
Ford has a division for wrongly built vehichles it looks like this happens alot.

so far the two of us are the only cases i have heard of this.
This has happened to me as well. I have ordered a set of the three OEM unit buttons for 12 dollars off eBay. Hoping when I plug in it should work just as it should. Not sure if the car actually doesn’t come with it or if ford was just to cheap to put the correct buttons of the dash.

Maybe was in a rental fleet? Maybe a PO parent had it removed so Buzz couldn't do smoky burnouts on Burgerjoint Boulevard?

I understand it at the track, but for street driving I am confused...
I used to have an '08 Bullitt, and when I first got it, I'd romp on it, and when I went to 2nd, rather than breaking free, TC would apply brakes to the rear, and it made a hell of a shudder. Un-fun. Felt like hitting a speed bump at speed. So I learned to turn off TCS when I was going to play...

TCS button plugs into the instrument cluster, so hopefully you got the wiring harness to go with the 3-button panel. It should just work.

Ford probably built those cars that didn't come with a TCS button on a Friday afternoon or a Monday morning.

I'm really surprised that I didn't see this one the first time around . . .

The thing is, I never found the TC on my GT to be useful for doing anything other than turning the little TC light on (though I did get the FRPP tune within days of picking my car up).

As ineffective as it's always been, I still turn it off every time. Get in, start engine, put it in neutral and get foot off clutch pedal, turn TC off, reset message panel, put seat belt on, go.
