I have the Roush rears only and didn't change the stock shocks and there is no problem at all. I just wanted to get rid of all that gap in the rear. As the pic shows it does a decent job of that.

another thumbs up for rear springs with factory shocks. Rides a little rough, but it's bearable!

I guess I have a low tolerance for the Roush springs/stock shocks, everyone else seems ok with it. It was definetely drivable that way but the mod bug bites and I'm never satisfied. There was an improvement adding the shocks. Didn't cost me instal time, just slapped them on while adding the 8.8.

How long have some of you guys been running the Roush springs with stock shocks? I've heard they'll last ok for a year or so.

Definitely put school first, because you car isn't going anywhere. If your anything like me you will switch cars a thousand times in your lifetime. We all say I'm not getting rid of this vehicle, until the new model comes out. Don't rush it. The mods aren't going anywhere.

I am doing the roush rear springs only and have no doubt that they will be fine with the stock shocks. Remember that as a progressive spring by the very definition- they get stiffer as you compress them so take your time over the bumps and potholes and though they will be stiffer (less squat) the change should not be that noticeable unless the shocks are so worn that they contribute nothing to the setup in the back...... I'm going to be doing Roush rears as well but to save time and labor if I pay to have them done I'm going to be doing d-specs, an adj panhard hard, ucas, lcas and a rear sway all at once.
