Default Magnapacks vs the mm cravings

i have cat back magnapacks with an off road h but im starting to get bored of it and hear that once you go with the mm setup theres nothing more to want. any opinions on the mm? anyone have any soundclips of theyre car? i've been pretty lucky with my exhaust, i randomly put it together and it really is one of the best sounding setups imo as well as many others. im just starting to get bored as many others do so once again im looking for any opinions on another setup or even the mm setup

MM sounds great from what I hear but i have heard that there are fitment issues alot of the time you should give that MRT Catted H a try because your magnapacks are awesome you should keep em =)

im not really afraid of having an offroad pipe so i kinda see no point in really spending 500 on a catted one. im thinking of maybe getting an x pipe with high flow cats but doubt that'll sound as good as my setup right now

Very true.... but still it will sound more refined if that is what your looking for it would probably actually make it sound pretty close to the Mid Muffler but I am not sure I say just go for it =)

I was also bored and swapped out my exhaust several times. It was expensive and didn't make that much of a difference. Once I added things like long tube headers, cams etc it made a bigger difference in sound than any exhaust swap ever could. Just a word of advice...

That's probably a very good idea. if you have an S197 exhaust setup that you even "remotely" are satisfied with (and you have a great one), save your money for more meaningful upgrades.

I currently have stock mufflers with LT's and O/R X and its decently loud. Ill be switching it out for the MM and im excited. Pure sex.

Anyway I agree with saving your money for more meaningful upgrades. If you like your current setup your already ahead of a lot of S197 owners lol.

not sure...i was looking into the saleen supershaker if i went sc, but thats just way too much money if it really performs at the same level as all the others. maybe a setup like joe's, but then again he did open my eyes a little more towards thinking about a turbonetics turbo. so we'll see what happens in the next couple weeks. i have a couple court dates, if they don't go so well then i'll definitely have to wait til atleast spring/early summer before i can begin the process
