I thoughts on this are

he got flooded with orders this christmas and got backlogged due to it
then some people filed complaints against him and that locked this account so he couldn't order the rest of the items needed the money is likely sitting in paypal limbo some of it not able to be refunded and also not able for him to take out to buy the products but some of it can be refunded to the customer but not withdrawn by him

its a case of a small scale business getting big time sales

I'm sure that after this gets sorted that he'll find a better payment handeling system than paypal and get back into normal business

I see the no products as a temp issue to be worked out

I have been persistant in emailing Doug for refund updates and I did not receive this email.
I have also continued to follow up with Paypal. Last week I spoke with a rep and he said that although he cannot discuss the vendor's account with me, they are working with him to get the issue resolved. He told me that it is his belief that I will get my money back in the next few days. Then he said to call be this week if I have not.

So I called back today (before even seeing this thread). Paypal told me they will refund my money back to my credit card and I should see it on my credit card in 3 to 5 days but should see it on my paypal account later today. I hope so!

I then asked, "does this mean the vendor is up and running again with paypal?" and they said no.

If you notice the bamachips site is now taking orders, but it's all by money order.

If paypal comes through I will be happy enough to put this behind me.

can you look into your crystal ball and tell me what the powerball numbers are going to be, since you seem to know everything without having any facts?

i'm willing to bet that even after all
this, some folks will still be ordering
tunes from bama and will be shocked
and confused when it never arrives.

i hope all works out for doug, he seems
to be the kind of person who simply has a hard
time saying "no" and wants to help even when
circumstances won't allow it.

It was a theory
I know Doug is a good guy and wouldn't rip people off

and I know I've read that he had something major happen that caused him to get backlogged

and I've heard he's still backlogged

I could be flat out wrong on my thoery though

23 47 56 13 32 01 (although the likely hood of being right on the Bama issue is higher than the likely hood of being right on the powerball)

Did you dispute the charges before the 45 days were up?

I emailed PayPal to see if they'd give me a hand, but I doubt it considering it's been three months. I'll probably have to fight it out with The Bank and Visa.

Yes I did but if I were you I would still call PayPal to see if there is anything they can do for you. Call and speak with an agent so you can have some actual interaction instead of email.

One can only speculate. It might be a cash flow issue which has killed many small businesses or sales may be down and he's done.

I can see my money back on paypal with today's date. So I am relieved. Should hit my card in 3 to 5 days.
