Make sure the IAT is relocated after the blower. MUCH SAFER!

If the tunes are not written for that mod have them send you updated tunes.
The tunes you have will be safe but you will be leaving some power on the table.

Keep in mind the 12 lb pulley (3.250) can make more than 12lbs. Mine peaks at 14. The pulleys were originally rated with the gen 1 blowers.

my kenne bell at 9psi will sometimes creep near 10psi, definitely something to account for and leave a margin of error for.

Ok I'll call Steeda.

That sounds good to me.

I believe the tunes have already been done and they're shipping the SCT tomorrow I'm guessin. I'll consider relocating the IAT later on.

Is there a way to limit boost to only 12 and not any higher? I don't wanna blow the engine.

I've also ordered a triple dash pod.

Cobalt fuel pressure.

Where did you guys connect the wideband sensor or weld in the sensor bung? I have off road pipes and was wondering if I can put the sensor in the rear O2 bung on the passenger side since there's no sensor in there now.

I'm planning on welding a bung on my stock H pipe near the forward most factory O2 sensor for my wideband O2 that I got with my Aeroforce gauges. I figure Ford probably spent time researching that location so it must be a good spot. you want the sensor to be fairly close to the exhaust port or you'll get a delayed/inaccurate reading. kinda like how even with a cat-less exhaust you'll still read about .5-1 point leaner on a tailpipe sniffer O2 sensor compared to a sensor close to the head.

now if you're not tuning from it it's not super critical but if it's showing a little lean from being too far from the head it's going to be disconcerting and worry you. it's worth the extra hassle of adding a bung close to the head IMO.

Hey 2007calspec You ask if I was going to do my own install for the clutch and flywheel. I plan on doing the whipple, clutch, and guage install at a friends house. I got the same cobalt guages on the way, but with an A pillar pod instead.

It sucks not having my own garage. My house was built in 1908 on a very narrow lot, so I must settle for a carport instead. I give lots of thanks to my good friend who has loaned me his garage these past few years to do all my mods. I don't think his wife likes me to much though. LOL. He never gets his chores done when we're working on my car.

Ok thanks! I guess I'll just take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld in the bung

That's cool you're installing them yourself. I'm ok with installing the Whipple by myself but I'm leery about being under the car and unbolting a heavy transmission to do the clutch. Don't want the thing to fall on top of me. lol

You have a good friend. Buy him lots of beer!

Just got these today! Got them on Ebay. Can't believe how fast they shipped. Got them in two days. Now that's service!

I should be getting the Whipple early next week. Whipple is located in Fresno and it's being drop shipped. They're less than 3 hrs from me. Can't wait!
