I got the Whipple today! It's so pretty!

During inspection of the parts, I found some damage to the float on the GT500 fuel pump. It has a little chunk missing and a gouge. I'm a little upset since this could mean a delay in the install. Do you guys think it's ok to use as is? It's a just a piece of hard foam right? Would gas soak into the float where the damage is and cause the float to sink?

the polished whipple will look great under your hood, matches your mustang well.
i'm not sure if the damage to the floater is manageable or not. you might want to contact whipple about that. its good that you have a pic of it.

Uh wow... 12psi on a stock motor? Whipple or not I don't know if I'm real comfy with that idea. Yikes.

I've emailed Jared at Lethal Performance about the fuel pump since that's who I've been dealing with. He will probably contact Whipple about it.

I think around 10-12psi and yes it's intercooled. The kit came with a 3.125 pulley.

Yeah I'm not sure about the 12 psi but I was told the tunes from Jon Lund are some of the best in the country and I'll be safe.
