You know, it just wouldn't be a Whipple install without the blue tape!

You got an air compressor out of this? I'd have to do some serious remodeling to make that a convincing argument

Keep the pics coming and remember to take a break and drink some water every once in awhile.

LOL...I only got the blue tape because I see others use it for their own supercharger installs. The tape actually sucks because it doesn't stick very well to the block.

I bought the compressor, an air ratchet and impact wrench. Turns out I've been using hand tools instead. DOH! I've been using the compressor to clear out the spark plug area and blow away debris around the engine. It worked great for blowing away the rat droppings.

ha ha, I used blue tape since I didn't want to drive out just to pick up better tape laziness FTW! it worked ok, the surface just has to be really clean. it was fairly easy to write on to label connectors so that part was nice.

So taking the intake manifold off is the first step after you do the bumper?

I actually have better tape but ran out to buy the blue one because everyone uses it. lol

Yeah the coolant hoses under the intake was a PITA. Getting to the 13mm bolt behind the passenger side head to free the hard lines was also a pain.

I removed the bumper first because I knew I had to install the intercooler later on. It also made it easier to drain the radiator. The first step was to drain the radiator, disconnect the radiator hose; then remove the air box and intake manifold.

I was so nervous about the spark plugs. I knew if I got through it ok then everything will be fine from then on.
