I saw on brenspeed's website a video to clean ur throttle body. I watched and then proceeded to do my own. It wasnt that dirty but there was some black shat in there. I used CRC throttle body cleaner which is available almost anywhere. This was the first time i cleaned my throttle body. I have had my cai and tune from brenspeed for two years and the car for three now. I guess i was expecting it to be a bit more dirty. I also changed my oil today and then washed my car. Productive day. Just wanted to share

 

Job well done. I'm planning on doing this as soon as I can find a free afternoon. From what I've read it's worthy of spending some time doing it right. Things are much more likely to get gunked up in FI applications which is why I will be doing it soon.

 

Just washed mine recently - front looked good but there was a fair amount of oil behind the blades
