I'm starting to experience the same, throttle lag. Something is dirty and needs to be cleaned or changed! I was thinking myself it was probably the fuel filter since I'm running close to 40k miles. Prolly give the fuel injector cleaner a whirl too.

Autoparts stores should carry some Throttle body cleaner and some sensor safe spray. Some throttle body cleaners are sensor safe.
