I am very interested in which you have, pypes or the ones from summit, and what the result is.
Are either kind glass packed, if so are you concerned that after the packing burns up you will be right back to square one as far as the trumeting?

According to brenspeed the flowclassics and the MACs sound nearly identical.

I have super 44s and the resonators helped reduce the drone by 1/2 and cleaned up the sound as well! took them off when i switched to the flows thinking they wouldnt be loud enough..just to put them back on again cause of the drone and trumpeting. they actualy made the sound even deeper too!

If I were to put resonators on, where would they go? Would they give me a decrease in volume and if so how much. I get really bad rasp between 2500-3000 RPMs. I currently have Stock headers, O/R H pipe and Flowmasters.

Dude we literally have the same mods except i have the cams. I put oh high flows and wow what a difference it has made. The raspy sound or trumpeting was horrible but the hi flos took it out. My exhaust is much cleaner with that nice deep tone
