I'm confused about "cable operated" though??? Isn't it all electronic?
It's an electronic transmission that uses a shifter actuated by cable, if that makes any sense! I'm all for the auto with /tune, I've had enough fun with sticks in my life. Clutches, flywheels, pressure plates, throwout bearings, slave cylinders and so on. Set it and forget it with the auto. I think you will like the TCI since you aren't expecting "manual shifting".
