I think I am done with Ford and am going to buy my dream car for the same price which is a 2011 Audi A4 Quattro with manual and sport package instead. I know I will get the quality with Japanese or German cars that I have not been able to get with 2 brand new Fords. I'm 0 for 2 with Ford quality this year and I do not want to repeat my insanity by buying another one.
I would STRONGLY look into that. My wife had an 05 A4, while not a POS, it was no more reliable than the mustang. Now she has an 07 A3, and the verdict is still out on how that one will hold up. But long term reliability is not an audi strong suit.

On the A4, the clutch is way to light, shifter feels like it was connected by a rubber band, but the 2.0T was a kinda fun little motor.

But the main killer is the service and replacement part prices. The 55,000 mile is coming up and they want $750 for it. And that is cheap compared to some dealers.

I'm used to that, my hondas were the same way. That service is always expensive because it was timing belt time. $750 seems reasonable to me for a mid life maintenance cost. My main thing is with the dealers. I just can't see an Audi dealer telling me that a major flaw with a car is something that isn't an issue. I never had any trouble getting something fixed that was wrong on any of my hondas under warranty. It's like the ford dealers lie right to your face so they don't have to do the work. I swear I've never seen anything like it. Very frustrating. I can understand problems with cars. Understanding the dealer telling me they won't fix it because they think nothing is wrong is something I can't accept. On 2 separate cars to boot. That's why I'm leaving Ford. Still love their cars but their warranty support is just HARRIBLE.
