Default Shifter/Tranny/Clutch NOISE

Hey Guys,
I need to get some help from anybody who has successfully cured Noise resulting from Clutch Chatter.

I installed a MGW Shifter, and now the Clutch Chatter (along with shifter/tranny noise) entering the cabin is too much.
Most of the Noise stops when the Clutch is engaged.... then, as I release the Clutch..... Noise, and continuously as I drive.
I've lived with it for a few months, but it is just too noisy.

Will Dynamat (or similar) installed under the shifter boot area help?

Thanks,
-Joel.

Hi, did you adjust the shifter stops? Sounds like you have a problem and hiding it with dyna mat may not be the answer. When the car is running and in neutral do you here the chatter?

A shop installed the Shifter, so I have not checked that out.
Are the shifter stops the adjustments that make the "throw" longer/shorter, and are they adjusted from under the vehicle with the MGW?

I dont get the clutch chatter in neutral.

If the stops are not adjusted correctly you will not be fully engaging the gear fully.....I had the same problem with a Hurst shifter years ago.
