I've had my 8500 X50 for years, and its excellent. My understanding is also that Beltronics uses Escort/Passport "guts"... I don't speed often, but its saved my *** a few times. The Mustang can be deceiving how fast you are going, and with the hills around here, its not difficult to find myself rolling 10-15 over down some of those. I mainly use it on road trips though. I just drove to Vegas and back last week, and it saved me once for sure.
