^ you hit the nail on the head man, I work night shift as well so I think I'm entitled to a few more "special" moments. But after I turned off the light, my security system is no longer messaging me. I never was given a manual for the security system so maybe that was a message to let me know I left a light on, but why the passenger door? hahah.. Oh well, who knows, i'm blaming stupidity and casper on this one.

It would explain a lot if you could find out exactly where they tapped into your electrical system. I don't have the wiring diagram open but the fact it was one door sounds like they tapped into that specific door switch. I do a bit of troubleshooting at work on occassion and it's a biatch when the schematics and wiring diagrams don't reflect what's installed.

Just wait until you get to be about my age; those "special moments" becomes "frequent special moments".

I'm going to go to the shop where I had my alarm installed and have them take a look at it but other than that, any suggestions?
bakerjd,

Sometimes the easiest solution is the most overlooked. I completely relate to how working night shift can make the simplest tasks seem so difficult. I'm glad to see you figured it out!
