Do you plan to pass your mustang along?

Yeah. It's a nice thought. I had the same one 30 years ago. I've owned the 69 Mach since 1978.. Was parked in 1983 so I could "hand it down". It's still parked and my kids have zero interest in it..
Pic from the last time it saw sunlight.. garage door broke in 2006 and I had to pull it out of the garage.. If I had to do it again.. it'd be gone...
Presently saving so we can build a pole barn to restore her.. however, pretty sure all that money will go to some university

I am keeping mine for as long as I can. I am presently thinking about some upgrades (exhaust, blackout panel to get rid of that fake gas tank cap and some sequentials). It will be around for years, and I don't want to get rid of her. First car in the states, the car in my wedding pictures & video, and the car that my daughter was taken home in from the hospital. I am attached to the damn thing.
As far as leaving it to my daughter? I got 16 years, or 15.5, and if I do what I plan to it I will have to say over my dead body. 300 horse (or by then maybe 400) is no kids toy. They can try a 2015 one with a 4 banger... Hahaha! (that is, if the SVO is happening).
Mine will be paying for her own college. I don't think I will have the cash flow to be able to afford to put her trough it. To damn expensive. My parents where done for 8k in the Netherlands, for ALL 4 YEARS! Here it won't pay for a year. Especially ~17 years from this date. So I already told my wife our daughter better do good in school and get scholarships, otherwise she can work retail all her life, just like mommy and daddy.
Unless I get back in IT. Lord knows I have been trying, but entry level jobs are not around anymore. And money for schooling there is not. It's a circle you don't get out of unless you luck out. But that is another discussion all together.

Robs I'm interested! I see one here in Los Angeles just like yours for sale. Wish I had the money.
I have a 2010 V6 that I really enjoy driving, but I plan on one day moving up to a GT. I'll still keep the V6 and of one day I have kids I'll pass down the V6. With the few mods it has, I wouldn't have to worry that they have too much power.
