Default Whats going to be so different about the 2011 v6 engine?

I was wondering, people are complaining about the current V6 engine in the mustang 2010. Whats wrong with it?? Why do people want a new v6, that 3.7 liter or whatnot. Whats going to be the biggest difference other than maybe more HP?

the 4.0 is about 30 years old and is originally a truck motor. It is heavy, underpowered, inefficient, and Ford has put a lot of time and money making the new 3.5 and 3.7. It does not make sense to keep more supply lines up and running when the Mustang is the last vehicle left with the ancient 4.0. The new 3.7 will have much more horsepower, and be lighter and get better mileage, as well as save Ford money. The fact that it will be getting a 6 speed transmission will help too. It is going to be a vast improvement, and a very smart move by Ford economically, as well as increase their public image. The V6 is a very common rental car, and America as a whole will be influenced by the quality of this car.
Its progress. I want a GT, but I am very excited about Ford offering a full range of viable options for the first time in Mustang history. Next priority for Ford, across the whole product range, is to reduce weight. Audi has pledged to reduce the weight of every car they make by near 25%. They have the next S5 pegged for a loss of 880 pounds. I think that is the future of cars with the new CAFE standards. Keep up the good work Ford, and, this time, stay with the curve. It is a lot easier than playing catch-up!

The 3.7 (Duratec 37) is a totally new engine, unrelated to the 4.0 (Cologne). The only thing in common is that they are V6's.
