I have just completed a tranny swap in a 98 GT. We took out the auto and put in a t45 from a cobra. I have the mechanical portion completed. We got the tranny wiring harness from the yard and plugged it all in. The car won't crank. nothing. We plugged the old harness into the auto, fired right up, with the tranny laying on the ground and the stick mounted up! I have an altered tune in the ecm, we turned the PATS off (it is supposed to be off anyways) any ideas? simple wire jumpers or something more complicated?
