What do you consider pricey? There are no aftermarket replacement heads just ported stock one. Good company's to choose from are www.vtengines.com and www.modularpowerhouse.com both vendors also offer cams.

I was looking at ford racing but they only make romeo heads that i found so far. the price was average 369 each. im looking around 550 each for heads max give or take. and a good set of cam to mach with them. I will check them sites out thanks for them links

I have nocking from the heads and my friend said it sounds like a valve gone bad. he said there bad on fords and my cousins friend said the same thing. some im looking for heads but they both told me dont get stock so thats why im searching. there telling me to get the patriatic heads but there pricy. so im looking for something else thats good.

A better cheap alternative would be MMR Modular Mustang Racing. Or you could just have your heads checked out to see what the noise is...could be a bad lifter or spark plug getting loose or spun bearing or exhaust leak...
