im getting ready to swap intakes tomorrow, and just wanted to make a couple things clear.. because im putting a pi intake on the non pi motor i need to take off the water pump and put the pi oring on? My engine has only 45,000 so should i just replace the waterpump if im taking it off, i plan on selling the car in a few months... also on one site i read that the pi gaskets dont line up quite right with the pi heads and requires some trimming?? i dont actually have a whole lot to ask now but probly will tomorrow as im right in the middle of it .. can you please post some write ups you have or have found, ive been searching and trying to read them all.. thanks bren

I think you need PI heads also. Mark

no people have switched just the intakes, hince modular..

I think you should do some more reading up on it before you actually start to try and tackle it...

the p.i. intake it almost a direct swap you can gain somewere around 18rwhp from the swap itself even more if you had a more direct port match betwen the npi heads and the p.i intake so good luck to you
