Hey guys, Will a 96-98 cobra intake manifold, upper/lower and all the wireing work on a 4.6 4v aviator motor. Im pretty sure the 99 up cobra intake manifolds work but need to know about the 96-98 cobra.

no the 96-98 is made to fit 4V B heads and the Aviator is 4V C heads so you need a 99/01 Cobra intake.

thanks drop top. You seem to know alot on the subject, I need an intake manifold for it and TB and all that stuff but I want to make sure I get it for the right engine. He said it is an avaitor engine that was put in the car but I want to know for sure since the guy thats selling it isnt the guy that hadthe motor in. I know it is 4v for sure but how do I tell the different motors apart? hell it might be a navigator 5.4, the guy said aviator but I want to make sure before I start buying all these parts. Whats the difference so that I could tell?

ok go to www.corral.net and go in the DOHC section...if you can get picks of the engine and heads one of the 4V Gurus will help you out...Guys like Boss330 are mods there and know more about the 4V then anyone i can think of.
