Default magnapacks

i just bought a 2001 mustang and apparently there is only straight pipes from the cats... it has magnaflow tips on it and it has two pipes coming where the mufflers were with clamps there... i was wondering if putting magnpacks is worth it.... or should i just buy a new catback? i found them for 165 for the pair

Are you sure it doesnt already have them on it, It doesnt make much sense why there would be magnaflow tips with out the cat back, becuz you cant buy the tips for a mustang by them selves. If the pipes are already 3 inches I would just by the mufflers instead of the whole cat back.

you can see clamps and a new piece of pipe replacing where the mufflers used to be i just wanted to make sure magnapacks will be good enough back pressure, i measured it and the magnapacks should fit perfect if i unbolt that pipe

You don't need any backpressure in the newer stangs, just the carburated ones! I just got my Magnaflow Magnapacks in the mail today. They sound bad ***! Get-em
