Better safe than sorry. The Evolution guys said 500 miles, but I've heard 3 heat cycles and 300 miles. I'm gonna wait just to make sure.

So how do they feel compared to the stock gears?
Is it noticeable?
How has the RPM range of the motor shifted?
Too high for highway driving?
Just asking.....

RE: 3.90's In!
Haven't really gotten a feel for them yet since I've been shifting at about 3k with maybe 1/4 throttle. But it does feel like acceleration is smoother and the engine revs through the rpms quicker. I have noticed a difference in RPM range, I now cruise at street speeds(35-45 mph)at about 2k rpm in 4th gear when before the gears went in I'd be in 3rd gear at 2.2-2.5k rpms. So I know I'll be saving a bit of gas in my around-town driving.

I never waited a second to stomp any of my cars after a gear install and never had any problems. It's not like seating rings. When they install the gears they are supposed to position them where they hit in the middle of the ring gear teeth. Then you just go. As for the comment about 4.10s being too much for a s/c, I have 4.30s and love them.
