Did any Mustangs come stock with a Borla exhaust? I just bought a 2002 Mustang GT yesterday and it runs GREAT! Its completely stock and the person I got it from said they installed a Borla catback about a year ago. From all other mustang I've drove in the past this one does have a deeper tone. I have a buddy which says he's 100% postive that mustangs from 2002+ came stock with Borla mufflers or catbacks. Is this true?? I thought Borla was only an aftermarket muffler, and did not come on stock cars. I personally think he's wrong, but I would like some feed back if possible. Thanks Kenneth K.

i know the 2000 Cobra R had the borla side exhaust

didn't the previous owner tell you he put it on himself? like mvr said, only the y2k cobra R came with borla exhaust

hahaha yeah she did install one.. My friend was under the impression that all mustangs over 2002' came stock with one. Thanks guys for saying it isn't so. I knew they didn't he just keeped pushing and said EVERY mustang sounds the same as mine so they must come stock with a Borla. I'll break it to him the hard way.. lol thanks all.! Ken
