I used to have an 04 GT and put the 2006 18" Fanblade looking rims on my new edge no prob. Ford themselves said it wouldnt work, but they were full of it!!

Look at one from behind with those wheels on. It looks pretty bad. To me, that looks worse than stretched tires. The design of the wheel itself is what I find so bad. It's the increased sidewall height and that they get tucked in about 3/4" more into the wheel well....
