PI Intake Swap
i have a 97 mustang anda buddy of mine told me to buy a pi intake and slap in on my stock heads...he said the wont line up perfect but they will still give you better airflow then what i have now...is this true?

yes, much better. but it is a little technical and unless you plan to do some modding i would say there are other things you can do first for more power.

yea i have been thinkin bout doing the pi head swap...but 500ish?? i saw a swap kit on ebay that had brand new heads and intake and all the gaskets and things you need to to the swap for 1500...is that way to much??

That link is very complete. You have to look around to find a good deal on some used stuff. I paid $700 shippedon my PI heads, cams, valve covers, new intake manifold, all new gaskets and seals, new head bolts, new water pump, new timing chain tensioners, and new Melling oil pump. Just keep an eye out for good deals, or you can piece a kit together yourself. If you want to make it easy you can just buy the EBay kit.

I did the pi intake swap, its an awesome deal for just over $200. you can feel it pull better up top. Plus if you have the plastic coolant crossover, yull get an aluminum one so no worries of crackin (which is why i did mine)
