Default throttle body and gas mileage

im considering getting a 70mm accufab throttle body to got w/my trick flow plenum i have heard that they can really hurt your gas mileage i was wondering if that is true and if by how much thanks

yea they increase air flow causing the fuel to burn more efficently

I agree with ^ the gas milage gets worse because more air gets to your engine causing gas to burn faster....result = bad

I have not noticed any major difference in gas milage with all my mods on my car, unless I am getting on it a lot, but for the most part your gas milage will reamain about the same.

*coughs* Bullsh!t *coughs* I installed my TB, Plenum, and MAM all at once. ANd guess what..... my MPG increased a solid 1 mpg. MOre power and an extra MPG, can't beat that! If it does adversely affect your mileage though, it will be so slight that you will not notice. Now a supercharger on the other hand......
