Default Transmission Not shifting right (AUTO)

Well I just got my 98GT back from being dyno tuned for the first time ever since all my performance mods...

Stage 2 heads
Stage 2 Cams
PI Intake
JBA headers and SLP full exhuast
410 gears w/ Dallas Speedcal
K&N CAI

The tuner I have is the Diablo Sport Predator.

While I was having my car dyno tuned they had a problem with the 1-2 shift under full throttle. So after they were done dyno tuning it they started to modify parameters and kept setting the 1-2 shift on a lower RPM level. When I left the shop they had it set on 4200RPM to tell the Automatic when to start to shift. Now after many test runs of my own I have it down to 3800 and it will still hit off the rev limiter. I would move it down in 100 RPM increments. And it wouldnt shift were its supposed to.

Does anybody have any ideas on what the problem could be?

Note: it does not usually hit the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift but it has done it once.

Thanks!
Mike

Can you return the trans back to the "stock" shift pattern, while leaving the engine tune alone? I kno those handhelds change line pressures and converter lockup, maybe you got a bad setup

I had th exact same problem after i had my 4.10s and ptune installed,Everytime i mashed it it would hit the rv limiter from 1st to 2nd, it drove me nuts, i thought increasing the shift pressure would fix it, but that made it worse

U are gunna have to lower ur shift pressure, im not sure what psi will fix it, i just put mine back down to 0........when i get back home im gunna play with it and see how high i can put it, before it starts hitting

I have a pretty similar setup as yours, particularly the 410s and the diablosport tune (not dyno tuned though).. Mine on the other hand is shifting early, and nothing I've done on the shift points or any other parameter has helped.

Do you think turning the shift points down (I haven't tried the counter-intuitive) would help at all?

By the way, how much would you say the dyno tune helped? I've been lookin to get one of those in the following months.
