I'm looking at a 98 mustang gt to buy for my wife that is 1000 miles away and can only go by what the guy tells me on its condition. the pictures back his word that the car is in great shape and the only thing his says that is wrong w/ it is that in 5th gear only the shift **** vibrates just alittle and you can hear a very slight buzz. Don't want to travel 1000 miles to buy a car that 5th gear is going to go out on me on the way back. Any input would be appreciated? Thanks

4th rattles like hell on mine since I installed a short throw. No problems have come from it. Why drive 1000 miles? Surely there are mustangs local to you.
