um, don't steggy's have a whistle at idle? I know with dougs lightning, you could hear it a little bit.
honestly, I'd rather have the idle whistle, than a hum anytime I was on the throttle, you're on the throttle alot more than you're idling. Also, centi's can be quiet at idle, you just have to buy the right one.
But I'm sure my opinion doesn't matter, because I drive a v6.

I just sold my centri to get a kb once again. I made the mistake of not just going back to a roots and picked up a centri because it was cheap. That lasted a whole month, i hated it. If you don't want a centri don't bother getting it, i know i hated it lol, get what you want.

make sure it has a Teksid and not a W.A.P block... i thought only some 99 got the teksid and all 01s were W.A.P.

Either block will be good though IMO...Teksid being the better of the two obviously

@tee The seller said he was pretty sure it was a teksid. I will verify when I look at it. He unfortunately is on leave until early April, so I won't know for a few weeks. The seller claims he had come across a built 98 cobra engine with turbos. I'll be seeing it and following up with some pics and/or more info.
@KJ Of course your opinion matters if you're contributing. I personally have never heard a PD blower 'whistle'. The 'eeeeeeeeeeeek' of the blower at WOT is pure seks. Come to think of the, they don't really any make sound unless you're really on the throttle.
